Happy Birthday to Darren!

This last weekend (after Michelle frantically hosted a Stampin' Up! workshop Saturday morning--fun!), we headed up to Centerville to spend the weekend with Darren's parents and celebrate his birthday. It was really nice to get to spend time with his family, take it easy, and eat excellent enchiladas made by his parents. Seriously, his mom makes really good chicken enchiladas (a lot like my mom's, actually) and his dad makes really good cheese enchiladas (which Michelle has tried and sorta succeeded at making a few times now).

But this post isn't about food. It's about Darren! We had a really good time with his family, especially when we laughed at him for taking forever to blow out his candles. His excuse was that he was so full from dinner that he didn't have room for air to blow out the candles... Uh-huh...

After a nice, relaxing(except for the part where Michelle had mini panic attack due to some recent breathing problems...[Don't ask. She's fine.]) weekend with the in-laws, we headed back down to Provo. Darren was lucky enough to convince his superiors that he should have his birthday off of work, so he got to stay home and enjoy breakfast in bed and a day of mostly lounging around. Though he did do dishes *and* laundry, even on his day off. Without me even thinking of asking him to do so.

He's just that amazing.
